PCM Company is seeking an Assistant Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of project cost estimation. You will collaborate closely with the firm's principals/owners, estimators, and support staff. Additionally, you will work directly with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

    • Detailed takeoff of all trades

    • Generally cross references details and building cross sections

    • Input takeoff quantities and scope into estimate templates

    • Vendor/material solicitation

    • Subcontractor solicitation calls/emails

    • Review project takeoff including confirmation of scales, review of building details, cross sections

    • Look up and adjust pricing from RS Means

    • Work towards pricing items based on labor productivity rates and material pricing

    • Review & descope subcontractor/vendor pricing/budgeting and update estimate accordingly

    • Proficiency with MS Office

    • Takeoff software experience a plus

    • Strong organizational skills

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Construction industry experience a plus
