PCM assisted the client with preparing a project schedule, writing portions of the technical write up and establishing the price proposal. The project included replacement of the existing Sandy Hook Wastewater Treatment Plant with a new system. The system included (4) 50,000 gpd process trains. Extensive equipment included aeration/anoxic tanks, clarifiers, chlorine tanks, pump vaults, etc. Over 2,000 LF of piping connected the various structures. Due to the project elevation, a dewatering system was necessary for installation. Nearly 500 CY of concrete was to be used for the treatment trains assembly and associated structures. At the end of the project, one of the three existing trickling filters was converted to a salt storage dome.
